Adding a measurement

From the Slide view page:

  1. Determine the area of an object in the scan you wish to measure.
  2. Click Toggle measurements () from the toolbar.
  3. Press and hold the Alt (Windows) or Option (Mac) key and click to place the first anchor point.
  4. While holding the Alt (Windows) or Option (Mac) key, click again to place the second anchor point. You can also release the key to set the second anchor point where your mouse cursor hovers. Once both anchor points are placed, Vetscan Imagyst generates a line and measurement between the two.

    Note: You can place an unlimited number of measurements on a scan.

Editing a measurement

From the Slide view page:

  1. Click Toggle Measurements () from the toolbar.

    Note: When enabled, the Toggle measurements button turns blue.
  2. While the Toggle measurements button is enabled, all measurements on the scan are visible. Look for a pair of anchor points and a measurement to find where they appear on the scan.
  3. Press and hold the Alt (Windows) or Option (Mac) key and use the mouse to click and drag an anchor point to a new location.
  4. Release the key and mouse button to set the anchor point.

Deleting a measurement

From the Slide view page:

  1. Click Toggle measurements () from the toolbar.

    Note: When enabled, the Toggle measurements button turns blue.
  2. While the Toggle measurements button is enabled, all measurements on the scan are visible. Look for a pair of anchor points and a measurement to find where they appear on the scan.
  3. Mouse over an anchor point or the line for the measurement you want to remove and press the Delete key.
