User profile

The User profile page includes user information, settings, and administrative actions. It can only be accessed by a user with administrator permissions. For more information, view Adding, editing, and disabling a user.

To view the User profile page:

  1. Click Main Menu ().
  2. Click the Users link under Admin.
  3. Click Edit user () for the user listing you want to view.

Edit

Click to edit the user information. When clicked, the Edit button becomes a Done link. Click Done to save any changes.

First and last name

The user’s name.

Email

The user’s email address (username).

Language

The selected language that appears within Vetscan Imagyst.

Last login

The date and time for the last user signed in to Vetscan Imagyst.

Roles

The roles section displays the available roles for a user within a company. Each role has a toggle to the left that indicates whether that role is enabled or disabled for a user. The toggle appears blue when it is enabled and gray when it is disabled. 

Click the toggle to enable or disable a user role. A user may have multiple roles.

Important: There is no Save button. The change is saved when you enable or disable the role.

Note: Administrators can click on the Help button () to view the Permission Map, a table displaying which roles have which capabilities within Vetscan Imagyst.

Notification settings

Notifications allow a user to receive an email notification when a new digital scan has been uploaded into Vetscan Imagyst or a scan has been assigned to a user for review.

Select the checkbox for the notification you would like sent in an email. Selecting the checkbox enables the notification. Deselecting the checkbox disables the notification.

Important: You do not need to save these changes. When you click the checkbox, the notification is automatically saved.

Send password reset

Click to send a password reset email to the user. 

Change password

Click to change the user’s password manually.

Disable account

Click to disable a user’s account. This changes the button’s text to “Enable Account,” indicating the account has been disabled.

When a user’s account has been disabled, that user cannot sign in to Vetscan Imagyst.

Important: The action is performed once you click any Action button. You do not need to click Done.

Enable account

Click to enable a user’s account. This changes the button’s text to “Disable Account,” indicating the account has been enabled.

Important: The action is performed once you click any Action button. You do not need to click Done.

Username lookup

A user with the administrator role can look up a username. 

To look up a username:

  1. Click the Main Menu ().
  2. Click the Users link under Admin.
  3. When the Users page opens, find the desired user's name. The email address for that user is the username.
