Note: From the Slide view page, you can click View help to open the Using the Slide view dialog, which contains helpful information for adding, editing, and deleting image captures.
Important: You must be at 10X or higher magnification to classify objects on a scan.
Selecting an existing bounding box
A bounding box is represented by a colored box outline or a box's dotted outline. When you mouse over a bounding box, that box is selected. You do not need to click on or within the bounding box to select it.
Important: You will know that a bounding box has been selected when an image capture information pop-up appears.
Editing an existing bounding box’s location
While mousing over a bounding box, press Command (MacOS) or Ctrl (Windows) and click and drag to move it. Release the mouse button once you have moved the bounding box into the desired position.
Important: You must be at a magnification of 10X or higher to edit a bounding box.
Editing an existing bounding box’s size
Press Command (MacOS) or Ctrl (Windows) and click on a side or corner of an existing bounding box to resize it. You must hover the cursor directly over one of the bounding box’s lines or corners before clicking and dragging to resize it. The cursor changes to a resize-cursor image when it is in the correct position. Once you have resized the bounding box, release the mouse button.
Deleting a bounding box
With the bounding box selected, press the Delete or X key.
If several bounding boxes are overlapping one another:
- Press the Delete or X key to delete the smallest bounding box under the cursor.
- Press the Shift + Delete or X key to delete the smallest bounding box under the cursor and all bounding boxes intersecting with it.
