AI Masses slide preparation

Shannon Mitchell Updated by Shannon Mitchell

Prepare the AI Masses slide

  1. Prepare a masses slide with a Romanowsky-type stain. Use one slide per submission.
  2. Add the sample to the slide area that is not frosted.
  3. Include a label to identify the patient.
  4. Add immersion oil and place a 24 x 60 mm coverslip on the slide.

Important: Ink markers and pens should be avoided, as they will wash off in the staining process.

Note: The tips section of the user guide contains additional information about slide preparation for specific cytology types.
