The Slide view page has several features to assist you with viewing, evaluating, sharing, analysing and reporting on a test.

Test information

The test information is at the top of the Slide view page. 

Element

Description

Test name

The test name is the name of a test within Vetscan Imagyst. 

Test type

The type of the test (AI Blood Smear, AI Dermatology, AI Equine Faecal Worm Egg Count, AI Fecal, AI Urine Sediment, Digital Cytology, etc.).

Test ID

A numeric ID for the current test.

Created at

The date the test was created within Vetscan Imagyst.

Species

The species associated with the test.

Description

View gallery

Click to open the test in Gallery view. For more information, view Gallery view.

View report 

Click to open the test’s report. For more information, view Reports.

Note: The report will only be available after completing the test review.

Share scan 

Click to open the Share scan dialog to share the scan with other individuals, whether they have a Vetscan Imagyst account or not.

Note: The link is valid for five days when you create a shared link.

Details 

Click to open the Details page, which displays an overview of the selected scan. 

Counts panel

The Counts panel is located on the left side of the Slide view page.  For more information, view Slide view counts panel.

Scan

The digitised scan of the slide is at the centre of the Slide view page. The scan includes features for navigating the slide and evaluating objects found on it. For more information, view Navigating within slide view, Slide view counts panel and Reviewing a scan.

Slide view toolbar

The Slide view toolbar helps you navigate within the Slide view. Hotkey combinations are also available to aid in navigation. For more information, view Navigating within slide view.

Description

Reset zoom  

Click to reset the magnification and display the entire slide.

Zoom in

Click to zoom in on the slide image.

Zoom out  

Click to zoom out of the slide image.

Preset magnification 

Click to zoom to specific magnification levels. The preset magnification levels are 10x, 20x, 40x, 50x, 80x and 100x. 

Track reviewed areas

Click to enable. While enabled, the button is blue, and your viewing history is tracked and visible within the minimap.

Important: Vetscan Imagyst only tracks your movement on a scan while viewing the slide at a 10x or higher magnification. This feature is only available for specific user roles.

Adjust colours

Click to open the Adjust colours dialog to manipulate the object's brightness, contrast, saturation and hue. For more information, view Adjust colours.

Toggle measurements

Click to enable. While enabled, the button is blue, and you can place measurements on the scan. For more information, view Toggle measurements.

Pan and scroll settings

Click to adjust the zoom per scroll, pixels per arrow press, scroll animation time, or pan animation time. Click Reset to Default to reset the default settings.

Multi-Scan controls

If a scan has multiple scans, use the multi-scan controls to cycle through the available scans. Click on previous (<) or next (>) to cycle through the scans.

Z-Level controls    ^ 1 of 3  v

If a scan has multiple z-levels, use the z-level controls to cycle through all the available slides. For more information, view Z-Level navigation.

Help 

Click to view helpful tips for bounding boxes, Z-level navigation and measurements.

View fullscreen  

Click to view the slide in full-screen mode. Press the Esc key to exit full-screen mode.

Magnification level

The current magnification level is displayed in the lower-left corner of the slide area.

Minimap

The minimap appears in the lower right side of the slide area. The red box indicates your viewpoint and location on the slide. Clicking within the minimap will immediately move you to that location on the slide and maintain the same magnification.
