Collect fecal matter

  1. Unscrew the tube cap from the collection tube.
  2. Add 1 scoop, about 1 gram, of fecal Matter to the collection tube.
  3. Use a stir stick to remove the matter from the scoop and mix it.
  4. Screw the sample tube onto the collection tube.
  5. Continue twisting until the tubes are firmly screwed together.

Prepare fecal sample

  1. Shake the tubes and then place them in a centrifuge.
  2. Spin the sample for 2 minutes at 300-500 RCF.
  3. Unscrew the collection tube with the scoop and discard it.
  4. Place the sample tube in a tray.
