My Profile: Roles and Permissions

The Roles section of the My Profile page allows you to set the specific role and permissions for a user. To access the Roles section:

  1. As an admin, click on the Main Menu ().
  2. Click on the Profile link.
  3. When the My Profile page loads, scroll down to the Roles section.

IMPORTANT: Only an admin can change a user’s role and permissions.

Roles

The Roles section lists a number of roles and related permissions that can be enabled for that user. A user can have more than one role. For a quick review of the different roles and permissions that are available, click on the Information icon () to the right of the Roles text.

Enable a Role

To enable a role for a user:

  1. As an admin, click on the Main Menu ().
  2. Click on the Admin > Users link.
  3. When the Users page loads, click on the Edit icon () for the user whose role you want to change.
  4. When the My Profile page loads, scroll down to the Roles section.
  5. Slide the button for the role you want to enable to the right. The slider and button will turn blue when enabled.

IMPORTANT: There is no SAVE button. When you enable the role, the change is saved.

Disable a Role

To disable a role for a user:

  1. As an admin, click on the Main Menu ().
  2. Click on the Admin > Users link.
  3. When the Users page loads, click on the Edit icon () for the user whose role you want to change.
  4. When the My Profile page loads, scroll down to the Roles section.
  5. Slide the button for the role you want to disable to the left. The slider and button will turn grey when disabled.

IMPORTANT: There is no SAVE button. When you enable the role, the change is saved.
