Shannon Mitchell Updated by Shannon Mitchell

The VETSCAN IMAGYST workflow for Blood Smear is:

Prep > Add > Scan > Submit > Analyze > Review

1). Prep

Prepare the sample as described in the VETSCAN IMAGYST guidelines.

2). Add

Add an AI Blood Smear test and fill in the necessary information for the appropriate samples, including the RBC count from the CBC report.

3). Scan

Place the slide on the Grundium Ocus scanner and follow the procedure for scanning a slide from within VETSCAN IMAGYST.

4). Submit

Once the slide is scanned and the test is filled out in VETSCAN IMAGYST, submit the test to be analyzed.

5). Analyze

Once a slide is scanned, VETSCAN IMAGYST will automatically analyze the slide and return the results.

6). Review

Once VETSCAN IMAGYST has finished analyzing the scan, it will create a report of its findings for you to review. Finalize the test to complete your review.

That completes the general workflow for the VETSCAN IMAGYST Blood Smear process. Individual workflows may vary.
