Inbox: Cytology Test Order

The Inbox contains all the test orders and samples that have been uploaded into the VETSCAN IMAGYST platform. These are organized as individual test orders in the sample listing area of the Inbox and elsewhere within VETSCAN IMAGYST.

Each individual test order contains important information and links that allow you to view, share, analyze, review, and report on the test order.

Clinic Test Order Listing

Element Description
Test Order Name The name of the test order that was uploaded into the VETSCAN IMAGYST system. The name is assigned when a new test is being created and can contain the Patient ID and Patient Name.
Test Type The type of test that the sample is (i.e. Cytology).
Test ID The unique numeric identifier.
Date and Time The date and time that the sample was uploaded into the VETSCAN IMAGYST platform.
Species Species of the animal from which the sample was taken.
View Slide slide_view Click to go directly to the Slide View.
Report report Click to view the report.
View Scanned Slides number_of_slides Click to view the scanned slides. This number will change depending on the number of slides within a test.
Cancel Test cancel Click to cancel the test.
Action Button The button on the far right of the sample listing. Click to take the indicated action.
Status Appears next to the action button and indicates the current status of the test order (see Status Details below).

Pending Orders Inbox
Open Click to open and view the unsubmitted test order.
Start Click to start filling out the empty test order.
Ready for Review Inbox
Review Click to review the pathology results.
Test History Inbox
Reviewed The test has been reviewed by the clinic.
Synced with FUSE fuse The results have been synced with FUSE and your clinic’s PIMs system.

Status Details

Status Description
Pending Orders Inbox
Incomplete Test Order A test order that has not been submitted for evaluation.
Waiting for assignment A test order that has been submitted and is waiting to be assigned to a pathologist.
Assigned to pathologist A test order that has been submitted and assigned to a pathologist.
Named pathologist A test order that has been submitted and assigned to the named pathologist.

Pathology Lab Test Order Listing

Feature Description
Test Order Name The name of the sample file that was uploaded into the VETSCAN IMAGYST system. The name is assigned when a new test is being created and can contain the Patient ID and Patient Name.
Test Type The type of test that the sample is (i.e. Cytology).

Company The clinic or hospital that submitted the test order.

Elapsed Time Displays the time since the test order has been submitted to Zoetis Virtual Lab.
