Inbox: Fecal Sample Listing

The Inbox contains all the samples (digitized slides + metadata) that have been uploaded into the VETSCAN IMAGYST platform. These are organized as individual sample listings in the sample listing area of the Inbox and elsewhere within the VETSCAN IMAGYST.

Each individual sample listing contains important information and links that allow you to view, share, analyze, review, and report on the sample.

Element Description
Sample Name The name of the sample file that was uploaded into the VETSCAN IMAGYST system. The name is created by an order from a Practice Information Management Software (PIMS) system or by a user manually creating a test. Clicking on the sample’s name opens the sample in the Images View page.
Cancel order (X) Click to cancel the test order for the selected sample.
Status The current status of the selected sample (see table below).
Date The date that the sample was uploaded into the VETSCAN IMAGYST platform.
Quick Filters You can use the “All Tests”, “Pending Orders”, and “Review Results” quick filter buttons to quickly filter the Inbox (see table below).

Status Detail

Filter Description
Scan (button) Click to open the scanner dialogue window and scan the selected sample.
Analyzing The scanned sample is currently being analyzed.
Error An error has occurred. You will need to rescan the selected sample.
Review (button) The selected sample has been analyzed and the report is ready to be reviewed.
Reviewed The report has been reviewed.

Quick Filtering Buttons

Filter Description
All Tests Click to view all tests.
Pending Orders Click to view all tests which have not yet been scanned.
Review Results Click to view all tests which need to be reviewed.
