When VETSCAN IMAGYST has completed the analysis of a slide, it creates a report for your review. To review the report:

  1. Click on the orange REVIEW button for the test sample you wish to review.

    IMPORTANT: Test samples with a blue SCAN button have not been scanned yet; test samples with the ANALYZING status are currently being processed; and test samples with the REVIEWED status have been previously reviewed.
  2. VETSCAN IMAGYST opens in the Images View with the results for the selected sample’s analysis.
  3. The results will include a sidebar showing classifications of parasites (Strongyle and Parascaris), a count of parasites found, and an EPG (eggs per gram) count.
  4. When finished reviewing the results, enter notes in the Assessment drawer at the bottom of the page and add images to be included in the report.
  5. If necessary, click on the Flag Results checkbox.
  6. Click on the Finalize icon on the right side of the Assessment drawer.
  7. The status for the current test sample changes from the orange REVIEW button to REVIEWED.
  8. You have completed the testing process.

    IMPORTANT: If no ova are detected on the slide evaluated, a disclaimer will display "0 EPG."
