Images Area
The images area is at the center of the Images View. By default, with any positive classification, up to four images will be auto-selected. If no organisms for a classification are found, no images are shown.
Show All
By default, each classification only displays the first 50 image captures within the images area. At the bottom of each classification is a Show All link. Clicking on the Show All link will display all of the images for a classification.
IMPORTANT: A classification could have hundreds or even thousands of captured images -- the total count is indicated next to the classification within the classification listings. Clicking on the Show All link may require you to scroll through many rows of images before reaching the end of that classification. Alternatively, you can click on any classification in the classification listings to jump to the start of those images.
Exemplars Library
VETSCAN IMAGYST provides an exemplars library that technicians and pathologists can use as a reference of existing vetted samples of a captured image. To access the exemplars library:
- Mouseover a classification from the classification listings.
- Press and hold the E key.
The exemplars pop up will appear to the right. It will contain as many examples as are available. If no examples are available, the window will simply state “No examples for this classification”.
Quick Zoom
While mousing-over an image, press and hold the ALT key. A small inspection window will open with the current image capture centered in the middle. The purpose of the quick zoom feature is to allow you to further inspect an image capture without having to open it in the Slide View.
Additionally, while the quick zoom window is open, you can use the wheel of your mouse to zoom in and out on the slide.
