Slide View: Page Features

The Slide View has several features to assist you with viewing, reviewing, sharing, analyzing, diagnosing, and reporting on a test sample.

Sample Information

The sample information includes the patient id and patient name. Clicking on a linked name will take you to the Images View.

Images View

Clicking on the Images View icon () opens the selected sample in Images View. For more information, view Images View.

Report

The View Report icon () only appears after a sample test has been reviewed and finalized. Clicking on the icon opens the report for the current sample. For more information, view Reports.

Share

Clicking on the Share Sample icon () allows you to share the test sample with anyone. For more information, view Images View: Page Features.

Classification Listings

The classification listings display all of the classifications that have been applied to the captured images, including their counts and a total count. For more information, view Slide View: Classification Listings.

To navigate within Slide View:

  • Click on the zoom in icon ( + ) to zoom in
  • Click on the zoom out icon ( - ) to zoom out
  • Use the mouse wheel to zoom in and out of a slide.
  • Click on the slide to zoom in.
  • Shift + mouse click to zoom out.
  • Use the arrows keys to pan the image left, right, up and down.
  • Click, hold and drag to move the slide in the desired direction.

Preset Magnifications

The toolbar has preset magnifications (5x, 20x, 40x, 50x, 80x, 100x) to help you zoom to specific magnification levels in the slide.

Reset Zoom

Clicking on the Reset Zoom icon () zooms you all the way out so you can view the entire slide.

Full Screen View

Clicking on the Full-Screen icon () expands the Slide View screen to the entire viewable area of your display. To exit the full-screen view, click on the ESC key.

Image Style Filter

Click on the Image Style Filter () opens the Image Style control panel. For more information, view Images View: Page Features.

Ruler Tool

Click on the Ruler icon () and then press [Alt] + click or drag to draw a ruler line with an exact measurement. This can be used to measure objects within the Slide View.

Z Stack controls v ^

If a test sample has z-stack data (multiple scans compiled as a z stack), you can cycle through the z stack by clicking on the Z-Stack Down icon ( v ) and the Z-Stack Up icon ( ^ ).

IMPORTANT: Image captures (bounding boxes) created on one z level of a slide will appear on other z levels in the same location.

Magnification Level

The magnification level, in the lower left-hand corner of the slide area, displays your current magnification level.

Minimap

The minimap appears in the lower right-hand side of the slide area. It indicates, with a red box, your viewpoint and location on the slide. Clicking within the minimap will immediately move you to that location on the slide and maintain the same magnification.
